This dynamic working document is intended to serve as a starting point for communal discussion on advancing research around higher education in prison (HEP).
We believe there is a critical need for more and better empirical study around what constitutes high-quality, equity-driven HEP programs. We invite the HEP community at large to engage with, interrogate, and provide feedback on our work—which proposes the advancement of a robust, ethical, and sustainable research infrastructure (RI) for the field.
We hope you will interact with the working paper’s discussion prompts and comment forms to voice your critical reception. You can also read the responses of other HEP stakeholders to engage with others’ reactions.
